Martin Rogers wrote an article completely discracing athens and insulting Greek people. http://sports. yahoo. com/olympics/news?slug=ro-beijinglegacy082408&prov=yhoo&type=lgns. Of course this kinda stuff all the time but doesnt anyone think it is completely rediculous how he very obviously makes fun of athens and how they manage the olympic structures they built? Greece is a second world country whos income is not as great as China’s.

Well, I think that’s the only point he’s trying to make.

I have to agree with this article. Greece is honoured on every olympic games by being the first country into the stadium carrying their flag. and the Greek flag is shown with the olympic and hosts flag on every occasion As was rightly stated Greece can no longer afford to host these games which have grown into enormous costs since WW2. I do not think he was “disgracing” the Greeks in any way at all.
